screen resolution problems

hello

i recently bought a new GPU

if i conntect it to my screen via the DV-I cable its perfect but if i connect via the HDMI even on the same resolution the pictures too small for the screen and there about an inch black all the way around.

any ideas?

Go into the Catalyst and change Overscan (or underscan, can't remember) to 0%. Only ATI know why they set the default to be anything other than 0!
