Screen resolution won't fit my screen?

I brought a benq gw2760 and the screen resolution dosent fit my screen for windows? The screen is a 27 inch but it leaves a black outline on the windows screen. I have adjusted the screen to all resolutions there all either to small or to big!

Anyone know a fix?

What graphics card are you using?

Make sure scaling on the monitor is to the max.

This is likely due to underscan. Tends to happen to me when using HDMI with AMD drivers. Open up the Catalyst control Center, go to my Digital Flat Panels, select scaling options, and set the under/overscan to 0%, or whatever happens to fit your specific monitor best.

I had a similar problem to this years ago with an old computer. If I remember correctly, I managed to sort out my problem by simply installing an older version of the graphics card driver.

It already is set to 0%? I've tried it on loads of other monitors and it's fine but this one it can't get right scaling?

Don't worry guys I have fixed it, I changed from hdmi to dive and it's perfect cheers anyways guys

How are you connected to the monitor? Am I right in saying this has either VGA or DVI input?

If so have you tried both?
