Hi :)

At the minute i have a x1800xt 256mb, but i have been thinking about treating myself to a new graphics card for a while now.

My res is 1440x900 widescreen. My problem is, when im looking at benchmarks between my card and say, 8800gts 320mb, i cant see a 1440x900 res to compare.

My question is this.

Is 1440x900 equal to 1280x1024 in the amount of pixels on screen? Would it be fine to look at benchmarks for 1280x1024 if i cant find 1440x900?

Cheers :)

Firstly I'd wait 2 weeks and find out what the 2900 Pro is like in comparison to the 8800 GTS 320Mb... I'm expecting it to be a better card for a cheaper price.

I also own a 1440x900 monitor, and when looking at benchmarks I take 1280x1024 as the average amount that I can expect because they are the closest if the review doesn't do 1440x900.

1440x900 = 1,296,000 pixels
1280x1024 = 1,310,720 pixels

Difference is only 14,720 pixels which is nothing really.
