Screen Sharing

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right section for the post but here it goes.

I need to do a presentation for 10 people next week and the idea is that they will all have laptops I need to run a powerpoint on my screen and I need to be able to share my screen with the attendees without using the internet/cloud? any ideas welcome!

Are they in the same room as you?

You could probably do this with VNC quite easily.

yes they are going to be in the same room. I was going to test VNC but i goggled it before and some people were saying when you have more than a few shares it starts to slow down.

Broadcast your screen using VLC/RTSP and have the attendees connect to your stream.

It's a bit of an old-school feature, used to be able to use it to connect directly to webcams if you knew the IP and port, but that should be your best option.
