Hi. I've tried to rub off these screen marks you can see in my two pictures, with the blue cloth you can see in the third picture, but it doesn't help. Should I moisten the cloth with my isopropyl, or just dab with water? My isopropyl is 70%, is it totally safe to use on my screen?
I've always used 'Auto-Glym' Fast Glass spray cleaner on my monitor and TFT TV screen when my grandson has placed his sticky fingers on them
I'm very fastidious when it comes to having a clean smear free screen on both Items but not always able to catch my 2 year old grandson in time to stop him from touching the screens.
I leave the screens off so they are cool then spray a little of the clear liquid onto a micro-fibre cloth and wipe gently all over the screen and it dries as I wipe leaving the screen absolutely spotless and smear free.
Absolutely first class product that I first bought for use on my car windows but have found all indoor glass and similar surfaces to benefit from this product and can guarantee it will not harm the screen. You need the liquid spray cleaner and not the 'Cream' polish.
I normally use Meguiars glass cleaner on my monitors
Isopropyl should give you the same result though...
Going by the first picture it looks more like scratches or youve gone through the protecting coating??
Culinia, do you wash yours in a washing machine or by hand? I use a couple of those hard round washing tablets as detergent which goes into the machine drum, and was wondering if detergent leaves anything abrasive in the cloth, OR, am I being overly worried, lol?
