Screen Tearing - About to rip my hair out!

Hey guys,

I am having some issues with screen-tearing at the moment. It happens on desktop and ingame, well on World of Warcraft. I have not tried it on anything else. In-terms of prior reading I have uninstalled and re-installed the driver, using drive sweeper, etc to no avail. Infact it has gone worse. Also had a play about with V-Sync, which did not work either. It is the worse its ever been now.

In-terms of the tearing I get little blue lines on videos, and when I try and move a folder on desktop it shows an after image, but like a smugged after-image.

So I just wondered if you guys had any methods I could try. I ran the OCCT GPU test about a week and a half ago and everything passed. However, it has only just started tearing in-game so I might re-do the test tonight.

I am reluctent to R.M.A the GPU as I have 4 weeks left at university. So I am more in favor of the RMA method in 4 weeks, but to be honest I think it will need R.M.A'ing.

You might want to try different components out, for example if you have the possibilities try another GPU, or try your GPU on another pc and that will definetly eliminate the doubts. Also if you provide screenshots others might be able to help you to a higher degree.
