screen tearing problem help please.

Hi when ever I try to use my tv and monitor at the same time in screen duplicate mode i get really bad tearing, but when I use powerdvd (blu rays) it tells me my screen refresh is changed and I have no tearing at all.

I think all it is doing is changing it to 24hz or what ever it is for blu rays, ive never had this problem before could someone help me out please
 
This will always happen, well happens to me also if one display refresh is different from the other.

Like 120hz on monitor and 60hz on TV. Set both to the same hz like 60hz and screen tear should be gone.
 
im not sure if my monitor is 60hz and tv is 60hz, the display info button shows 1920x1080 50hz. I looked it up and seen its meant to be 60hz i tried changing a few things but it wouldnt shift from 50hz i found a odd option profile 1080p resolution 17xx X XXXX thats put my tv into 60hz and tearing seems to have gone or got better, the normal 60hz profiles for 1080p wouldnt change my 50hz
