screen tearing without areo

I need a solution to video tearing besides turning on an aero theme

I have vsync on latest ati drivers intalled but on flash videos I'm getting annoying tearing just at the bottom of the screen

noticeable on this test also
 
This may be unrelated but I'm having silly tearing flickering with my 7970 lightning. Though mine is tearing all over while in a web browser and on flash videos.

I've gone back to using onboard atm and its perfect. No tearing at all.

No help, but Is that your vid, if so we've got the same speakers, MS20's what do you think of them ? I bought the Microlab solo 7c's and more often than not, i keep using the beheringers.
 
I think the problem is the 2d clocks of the gfx card maybe need to force it to 3d clocks to fix my tearing will look into it

because i do not like areo sure does look smooth anyway
so you telling me i cant disable areao and have a smooth none flicker flash ?

Does windows 8 not even have that
 
seem to have fixed it for now I did before but has came back what i did

Enable Override software rendering list in chrome://flags
 
fix for firefox

Firefox:

1. Type about:config into the browser and press Enter where you would normally type a web address.
2. Type webgl.force-enabled into the Filter: search box.
3. Press your mouse on the Value that is displayed to highlight the row.
4. Right click your mouse on the highlighted line and choose Toggle.
