Screen Tearing

Get pretty bad screen tearing, help

I'm using a 4980 with the latest driver and catalyst program.

I'm testing using portal game.

Any ideas?

yeah tried enabling v-sync, no difference.

Going to try a different card later the is week to see if it's a bust card causing it.

Well V sync should have solved your problem.

However, it might be that you have got the the refresh rate of the monitor set incorrectly.

You can set this in windows and on the monitor.

try d3doverrider it comes with rivatuner,install rivatuner and in the installation folder you will find d3doverrider folder,run the d3doverrider.exe before you start the game.if you dont want rivatuner move the d3d folder somewhere else and uninstall rivatuner
