hi, so i have build a new pc here are the specs:
NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case - Black
- Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
- Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler
- MSI Z87-G43 Gaming Series Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
- Kingston HyperX Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (KHX16C10B1BK2/16X)

So, when i play games i get a terrible screen tearing which i cant fix could anyone help me?.

So, when i play games i get a terrible screen tearing which i cant fix could anyone help me?.

Screen tearing happens when your fps is higher than your refresh rate and V-Sync is diabled.

For example if you have 70fps on a 60hz screen with v-sync disabled you will have screen tearing.

V-Sync introduces it's own issues (input lag) but can sometimes be the lesser of two evils.

Personally I run a 120hz for this very reason, it's much smoother, even with slight tearing with v-sync disabled if I hit 120fps+. It's almost a necessity for FPS gaming.
