Hi All,

At work we have 2 X large(ish) meeting rooms with TV's for presenting (LG 55UJ630V 55 inch 4K Ultra HD). These both have a 'presentation PC' and direct HDMI cable. The presentation PC has our conferencing software on it and both are connected to a Logitech conferencing system (Speaker/Microphone & HD V. Cam).

For formal presentations that involve parties abroad, it is understood the presentation must be done through the PC, via USB, or logging on with their AD account. All good so far.

The problem comes when users are bringing their own laptops with them, with HDMI ports in various states of health. Another problem is visitors who come in needing to present, some still have VGA only (words fail me).

What I want to put in place, is some sort of software that can run from the presentation PC, that users can 'throw' their presentation or screen to. For visitors it needs to have an easily downloadable app so they can share docs as well.

I've found something called Ditto (http://www.airsquirrels.com - lol), however I'm hoping someone might have a recommendation from real-life usage.

TL;DR - Sick of cables, want a wireless presentation solution that's idiot proof.

We've just done something similar at work as the general manager wanted a "wireless projector", and wanted it to work with *any* device a customer might bring

Ended up having a standalone Window 10 PC with a wireless card connected to the projector, acting as a wireless hotspot.

Then used:
https://www.airserver.com/PC

which allows streaming from anything - Miracast (windows), Airplay (Apple), and Google Chromecast.
