Screenshot software

I am looking for some screenshot software that I can use ingame to take some nice shots like those seen on this website. I would prefer that it was free software and would allow me to take the shots as I please and put them in a folder for me.

most games already have a screenshot function just find it in the control settings

Got an ATI card? You can map a button to take screenshots with ATI Tool and Hotkeys
