Screw type input terminal

getting book shelf speakers for me amp.
it says " Screw type input terminal " but the amp im getting is just the standard connection were you feed the bits of speaker wire in.
can i cut the ends off the "Screw type input" cable on the speakers and connect them the standard way ?

Yes. Screw down terminals accept bare wire, spades and sometimes banana plugs or BFA's.

"Screw type input terminals" are exactly what they say they are, terminals. There will not be any cable attached to them with special connectors, so no need to cut anything off. You will be able to use the same cable you used previously, unless that cable is attached to the speakers directly and not via some kind of terminals.
