First off, I hope the thread title isn't deemed to be too much on the edge of the rules :).

I have owned a Lian Li V1000 pretty much since they were released. Love the case, even with it's flaws, I can work around them. One thing however has just presented itself that I hadn't encountered before, as I had no need to worry about it until now.

6 hard drive bays. Great. Ok, some of them are actually damn tight once you have a PSU in there, but it's workable.

Problem? Why on gods green earth did Lian Li in their infinite wisdom decide to only give you enough hard drive mounting screws for 3 hard disks?! Would it have cost that much more to provide enough, maybe with a couple spares, to actually allow you to mount 6 disks in there?!

Is there anywhere I can get the right mounting screws specifically? A simple 'yes' will do if the site breaks the competitor rule.

Ta for any help guys :).

Screws I picked up a 50 pack of while building my file server are know as #6-32 I bought 4mm length versions which seem sufficient! The similar looking M3 screw will munge the threads in the drives however

My Lian Li (B25) came with enough screws + grommets for 5 HDD's, I'm sure that covers 99.9999% of the user base.

Enough for 5 would have been fine. I only need to fit 4 drives in there. What's frustrating is having 6 bays, but needing the right screw to allow the drives to fit in the rails, and only giving enough in the box to actually fit 3 drives!
