Screwfix Show

That sounds pretty interesting, I'd potentially be up for heading along and meeting some OcUK peeps! (would depend on work and family commitments as it's my Dad's birthday on the 10th but I'll see what I can do...)

Pity they don't stock ryobi tho as I'm very interested in some of their kit and would have liked a hands on with it...

Thank God, it's miles away from me.
I've been to one of those DIY events before and it's far too tempting not to buy more "indispensable" tools.

I still remember seeing some guys woodworking plane curling up a transparent wood shaving, t'was only £500

I'm only going if someone can promise me the following will be there

Ladders that fold up
The adjustable spanner that grips anything
The knife that cuts anything
Paint pods

I'm not interested otherwise

I was considering it but been far to busy ever weekend of late and could do with a slightly less busy one, and also am completely skint at the moment and the possibility of buying lots of tools would be a problem!!! :)

Girlfriend works for em, can't remember which stall she's on but apparently has a massive bag of goodies like t-shirts, drill sets and a few tools for me, and still 2 days to go!

Popping down on Sunday to see if I can scrounge anything as they close up before picking her up, it's supposed to be very impressive.

Been working at this for the last 4 days. My word was it boring :p But then I'm not a tool-y person. If anyone did go, I probably gave you a pass/scanned it at some point.
