Scroll Lock Flashing + Loss of display!

I've got a really odd problem with my main PC!

When in windows or gaming the main monitor (21" CRT) will lose its signal, then the PC freezes. The only solution is to reboot however it can take a few attempts! The Scroll Lock flashed all the time this is happening!

I've checked the event log and noticed an error. I can't remember it at the momemnt (will add later) It says somthing about the 'video card can't be found'

This problem has occured since I installed a second monitor.

I'm wondering if my 9600XT is goosed because of the extra load during playing EVE and surfing on the dual monitor setup. Just seems a bit of a coinsidence that its happened a day after installing it!

Any ideas?

You should be able to handle dual display with that card, I had my 9600XT and then my 9800PRO running two 19" CRTs. If you go back to just one monitor does the problem still occur and also, if you try the monitor you have just added with the card does that still encounter problems in games/windows?

The problem still occurs when I go back to one monitor but its like the PC has to cool down for a few minutes before its stable again.

As of last nights messing around caused me to waste an hours trying to fix it I think a customery reload is on the cards.

The damn thing works perfectly for 3 years on one install then you install a service pack and the **** hits the fan!
