Scrolling Issues

I have had my Mac Mini since June last year Running OS X.
I have noticed every few months I start getting scolling issues.

A Few E.G....
When I open Camino & go to book marks, It scolls all the way to the left. If I grab the scoll bar with my mouse I can stop it. When I let go it carrys on again. I did uninstall camino. But when I reinstalled it did it again.

The exact same thing happend with Firefox...

My Entourage does the same when I open an e-mail. Only that scrolls up ward..

Recently When I open Excel it scrolls right to the end of the sheet..Left to right..I cannot stop it from doing so.

I have tried repairing permissions & scripts. Today I even tried reinstalling Tiger again (That usually cures it, Not this time) & did all the updates for both OS X & Mac Office...

I am now at a loss as to what to do....

Can anyone help with very annoying reoccuring problem.

I am running OS X on an WD MyBook External drive. I booted from the MacMini internal drive & the same problem occurs.

I hope I have provided enough information...

could it not be your mouse? (e.g a hardware issue)

I am using the Logitech MX Laser With The Mac drivers installed.

Does anyone else use this mouse with Mac OS X?

Thanks For The replies.

I have been & got another mouse & so far so Good .

I did try another mouse & the problem ceased.

So We will have to see..but it sure looks like it was the mouse .
