I got it working and have played a few games.

Order seems weak from what I can see. Their cards are just objectively worse. Growth cards have insane synergy, and if you compare cards the order ones with similar effects are just plain worse.

Seems the case, I've lost a few times to growth because of the simply amazing spell cards the have.

Buff everything with +2 attack, but add am extra turn, then play a spell to reduce turns by 2 = instant attack for the entire army.

I do like Order though, but it's taking quite a while to get extra good cards. I don't even have any siege weapons yet.
 
Feeling the same with Order, the only powerful combo I feel I have in the late game is the Honourable General and Royal Vanguard combo, which pretty much gives you insta +2 attack for everyone around them, but even then it's a weaker version of what the others can do more often with the whole board. Even though I like the essence of Order style it just seems too weak that the synergy of the Order is basically to have things in a row, it's only 2 units getting +1 attack or health. I feel like it needs to be more like Infantry give rallying calls, that buff all infantry types on the board or something more robust.

Going to save up for the Growth pack, wolf/kin synergies look fun to try out.
 
Thoroughly enjoying this, not my usual kind of game and only really got it because some other people picked it up, but the games so deceptively simple and yet really complex to try to plan a couple of moves ahead. I'd relate it closely to chess! If anyone wants to trade - Delphi_uk
 
have to agree Lithon, that wolf pack combos, and kin folk are devastating. All the time, even worse when they manage to pull out a small pack of wolves, which all have haste, and then use another haste spell directly after.

Even worse if they do that after sacrificing that grey/snowbeard fellow which gives + attack, along with the tribal totem which adds another +2.

It's devastating, and I've only won about half of my matches. Most of my wins are against other Order players, and few Energy ones.
