He's quality, heard thou shalt always kill before and love it, the beat that my heart skipped is a great track too, Scroobius has amasing lyrics.

Was good to see him getting some exposure on soccer am on saturday.

its an awesome tune my g/f introduced me to it a few weeks ago. normally its not my style as im a bit of a metaller but i think this song is very clever.

Saw him and Dan le sak at the Venn festival last year - They are good live, and are a refreshing change to a lot of the generic hip hop around right now. :)

"Letter to god" is getting a few plays on radio 1 right now...

there's tonnes and tonnes of hip hop about now, you just have to know where to look for it. when does any music actually worth listening to get handed to you over the radio waves?

Not very often, I'm just fed up with the usual novelty rubbish like Soulja Boy.

What other stuff would you recommend hip hop wise? I quite like some of the Virus Syndicate stuff, even if it is a bit dark...

VS aint bad, plan b are pretty good aswell mate.

I listen to more B-boy kinda stuff like 7L and Esoteric, Mr Lif, DJ Format, Abdominal, DJ Fase and stuff like De La Soul, Kanye West, Mos Def and Talib Kweli. To be honest, being winter, I've not really been into hip hop recently. I'll step it up again when it starts getting a bit more summery, but those guys should start you off. 7L and Format are excellent and very accessible so a good place to start.

I was annoyed that "thou shalt always kill" was an electronic format only. I got "the beat that my heart skipped" though. it is really good.
