Scuffed wheel arch... fixable?

Went out to the car this morning to find this:

Any chance this could be "polished out", or taken care of without having to replace/respray the entire door/wheelarch?

Seems to have gone down to primer, If that is the case you are bang out of luck mate. Sorry

I'd get the arch painted (shouldn't cost much more than £50-100) and get the tiny bit on the door touched up and buffed in.

That's what I'm thinking, cheers man. Either way I really need to do something about it fast before it starts to rust.

It shouldn't rust unless metal is exposed, but the primer isn't the best protection no. No chance of polishing that out anyway.
