Scythe Mugen 5 "Black"

For anyone interested Scythe are releasing a Mugen 5 "Black" not Black Edition (RGB Version) Just "Black"

The cooler is all black inc the heat pipe caps so it doesn't look like a gimp mask anymore and it will come with all black fan which will now be 1500rpm rather than 1200rpm

I'll be sticking with my Big Shuriken but I'm interested in their new line of all black fans when they get released

I like the looks Mugen 5 all black. Looks much nicer than black top with silver caps on RGB model.

Both are similar quality but Mugen 5 rev B has 6x 6mm heatpipes to H7 Plus's 4x 6mm heatpipes giving it more cooling at same rate of airflow and can cool higher TDP CPUs.

I goofed, H7 Plus is double fanned H7 with 3x heatpipes. H7 Quad Lumi is one with 4x heatpipes.
H7 Plus is 70x120x145mm (DxWxH) w/o fans 3x 6mm heatpipes & 40 fins
Mugen 5 is 85x130x154.5mm (DxWxH) w/o fan, 6x 6mm heatpipes & 43 fins

I've been looking for a new cooler and came across the Mugen initially, and then specifically this model. It still doesn't look to be available in the UK yet. Or at least I've not found it.

It looks beautiful. Hopefully it won't be too long before it can be bought.
