Scythe Ninja Plus Heatpipe CPU Cooler Modding

I have bought 2 aksa Ultra Quiet 12 cm fan's to replace the one thats provided with the cooler,
what i want to achieve is:

Would it be viable to simpy get a fan grill to put over the fan blades of fan 2 and use some metal wire to create some holders similar to those provided with the fan? or will that cause problems?

My alternative plan was to have 3 fans, 2 blowing air into the heatsink and 1 pulling the hot air out

Or am i just going overkill and i wont notice any difference in temps

I think he means he wants to attect 2 fans to his ninja in a push pull config but wants to know if its worth it?

yeah

i know i was bored, even tried getting a Zalman Flower Cooler onto a Socket A this morning. Managed to fit it on with a bit of playing, but couldnt find the 2 to 4pin converter, doh!
Put everyting back to what it was originally
Opened up the akasa fan box and wo and behold there was one ><

i see, thats a good configuration but from what i read they scythe ninja does not benefit much from loads of airflow.
