Would this work....

I currently have the 120mm YS-Tech Fan on an XP-120 HS,

- Speed - 2800RPM
- Output - 125CFM
- Decibels - 40.5dBA
- Dimensions - 120x120x38

If I was to somehow "fashion" a second retaining mechanism onto the Scyth Ninja could I fix an extra 120mm to it in a push > pull config to exhaust air onto the rear case fan?

If that was possible I was thinking of therefore using 2x 120mm AcoustiFan's, specifically the dustproof one,

- Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
- 12v: 56.3 CFM, 24.7 dB(A), 1500 RPM
- 7v: 41.5 CFM, <15.6 dB(A), 1050 RPM
- 5v: 25.2 CFM, <10.0 dB(A), 675 RPM
- Double Ball Bearing
- Life expentancy: 60,000/ hrs

That would give me 2x 56.3CFM's of airflow which is nearly the same as the 1x YS-Tech that I had before but also drastically quieter.

Comments? If it sounds feasable it may be worth giving it a go over my XP-120 setup. :)

Cheers!

Wow a lot of information there, thankyou all for the replies. :) Where to start, I hear what people are saying about it perhaps not making a difference for the cost of the extra fan, so if I was to get one if may be something to do.... like Sandmaster says "it's fun to bodge fans!" :D

Thanks for the pic as well btw, it's huuuuuggge! I doubt my YS-Tech would fit being the thicker 120mm fan.

Thanks Raikiri, the show is well funny. ;)

Thanks again peeps, now I just need to find some extra cash! I hope it's better than my XP120! Does anyone know if it is better?
