will this fit a bfg 680i mobo as i tryed this on my last board and 1 of the chips got really really hot and system was very unstable due to it over heating

I *think* it may require modding the 775 retention clip to make room for the motherboard capacitors.

dam am not going to mod anythin i'll just get another cooler will check it first though
if i do have to get another cooler which 1 ???? for a e6300 o/ced to 3.2
