As far as I'm aware the Ninja is a fair bit better than the Infinity, but I could be wrong (there was a good roundup of coolers that someone posted but I can't remember where it was).

Core Temp reads core 1 42C Core 2 40C

urm i wouldn't want to accuse anything there fella but that seems way out! whats your ambient temp? 22c idle is impressive on water let alone air, what fan do you have with the ninja? also what cpu?

Did edit the "Core Temp" in.

Room temp 25C
E6600 P5W DH
T'is the fan that came with the ninja.
& that has been stable for the last 48hrs.
Both ASUS AI & the BIOS give same cpu temp reading, core temp gives the above temp.

wow, that's really impressive. How loud is the fan that comes with the ninja? Worth splashing out the cash to get another one, say.. a nexus?

The standard Scythe fan that comes with a Ninja is very quiet - But therefore is also not very powerful...
