Scythe ninja revb does not fit on ds3.

Decided to take my ninja revb off my m/board to check it again seeing as iv been getting 40c idle and 60c load, had a bright idea of taking the clip off the heatsink itself and just mounting the clip. Well i did that and the clip touches the three capasitors on the right hand side it sits on top of them, I used a sheet of paper to see if there was any gap and no there wasnt. I rotated the clip to all 4 positions possible trying the paper as i went and no luck all the sides touch. This will explain why i was getting crappy results it was touching just enough to knock my temp up. My advice dont get a ninja if u have a ds3 :mad:

Same on the P5W funny enough. Just file the affected area down, you don't need to take a lot off.

Same here on my DS4. The silver bracket with the 4 stupid plastic clips sits on TOP of the row of capacitors which ever way it's fitted. I cut a chuck out of one side so that it no longer catches.

Problem is they've started using a new bracket. The old one would have been fine i expect.

got the original Ninja on my DS3 and it's on with no problems.
