Scythe Ninja

I got a scythe ninja a while back and fitted it and it wasnt very stable so i took it out plus the temps where around 45-50
i now have the intel stock fan in and its running at 50

Is it worth selling the ninja and getting to get the tuniq tower instead? as it should be easy to mount on aswell

what chip are you running on it? and what case?

Its a C2D & an the case is a Lian-Li PC7 Plus

Tuniq Tower or Thermalright Ultra would both be good.

No idea why you had problems with the Ninja though, still got one sat here myself...... it's an awesome cooler. Perhaps it wasnt making good contact..... did you try reseating it?

It was a bit of a pain to mount the ninja in so would it be worth buying some thermal remover
and then try to reseat the cooler again or should i just buy the tuntiq to save time

i'd go for the tuniq or something similar, i dont like the ninja using the pins simply because its such a big cooler.
