anyone use these fans?

I bought 2x Scythe S-FLEX 1200RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan - 3/4 pin
And 1x Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan - 3/4 pin

Its a Lian-Li PC7 Plus so 2 lower speed were to replace stock intake + exhaust, and the 1600RPM replaced the tuniq120 stock fan. I compared the fans before putting them in and the stock fans seem quieter and it might just be me but feels like it blows more air too. Anyone else got experience of these fans? as i said could just be my imagination but the 3 fans i had seemed to be better than the so called 'silent' high airflow fans

yea well i held the original and this up to both my ears while plugged in but not mounted and to me anyway they emit a sort of buzzing sound. Another weird thing in the bios it shows both fans as spinning at 750rpm

You sure you haven't got the sff21d by mistake as that one runs at 800rpm?

I have four sff21e (1200rpm) in my stacker and they are great, good airflow, not a lot of noise.

well says 1200 and 1600 on the packet. Im not saying they are terrible but i was surprised that they werent much of an improvment over stock, infact in my mind slightly worse. Was hoping someone else with a lian-li PC7 plus could say what their experiences have been with replacing the stock fan - hence why it was in case central but nevermind

All my components are cooled by S-Flex 1200 in my case, with 4 running at 950rpm all I can hear is the movement of air and even when I crank it up to 1200 I can barely hear it.

suprising to see you say that, you cant hear any noise at all from the fan except air? im really thinking about putting the original fans back in and just keeping these as backups or something

I use the s-flex 1600rpm for my TT120 cooling and found at full bore it cooled better and was certainly quieter than stock fan. I now use it controlled by my motherboard depending on temp (auto). Considered getting the 1200rpm versions for case cooling (also PC7) but will stick with some Artic Cooling fans throu a fan controller for now.

Stock fan found a new home in the bin!!

Had two of the 1200RPM version, they had motor noise compared to no motor noise of my Yate loons. They also didn't like going on a fan controller I don't think.

One of my four was noisier, but they are all on a fan controller without issue. Wound down the noisier one and it's now silent.
