Are these fans any good? I was thinking of getting Apaches, but have found some of these quite cheap and can pick up three.

Its the 21F version:

Also in comparison to my existing Akasa Amber will these be quieter and cooler?

yeh there decent enough..depends on what you mean by cheap.

Are Apaches good to mount horizontally? I know some types of fans aren't suited.
