SD 3700+ E4 or E6

Hi

I'm upgrading from a 64 2000+ 754 skt to the SD but having read reviews of each I'm not sure which is the best one to get. I've read the E4 variant is a better o/c but the E6 has a more stable Mem controller.

Would it be better to get one over the other or doesn't it make much difference.

The E6 has a better chance of being a good clocker but nothing is gauranteed.

Nothing dramatic in it really. Go with the cheapest chip you can find.

I would say that you definitely want one of the E4 stepping chips. The E6 variant are failed dual core chips that run hotter and generally overclock less well. I have owned both.

What about the Memory controller being unstable did that not cause any probs

If the parts of the chip that are going to used and faulty then the chips are binned.
