SD Card space

Hope this is the right section!!!

Right i have a 2gb SD card
It has my tom tom software on for my PDa when i use sat nav.
Now i formatted the drive a week ago and now it is showing as less than a gig in space with nothing installed on it

I have formatted using Ntfs,fat and fat32.
But right after a format it still shows as being around 950 mbs

Is the card now slightly broke or is there something im missing??

Im on windows vista premium if this makes any difference.

you sure it a 2gig card
who`s it made by and were did you get it?
there are a lot of fakes out there, 1gig made to look like a 2gig etc

Oh well its a sandisk 2gb card
If im honest i have never looked at the size on the disk as far as i can remember

Try searching for SD Card Formatter as that site has a utility to size the card correctly. My Vista Premium does the same and formats the card at just under 1gb.
