Ok, today I ordered 667 DDR2 for my SD37P2 and tonight I read a new bios update is released today supporting 800 DDR2 :eek:

I cant for the life of me update my bios, no floppy and never having any luck with software flash apps

winFLASH i've always used. it even comes on the shuttle cd under the utilities folder (or used to??)

flashed numerous shuttles numerous times with it with no problem

its literally

download new bios
open winFLASH
choose update
browse to new bios file
click update
watch progress bar
restart
program main block (this it does automatically at post/boot)
restart
smile cos you can use DDR2 800mhz mem

Yep, in my case the 32 bit CD has the Bios Flashing program on it, it works OK I flashed the bios just now.

However, due to a quirk of fate I don't have any DDR2 800 to test it with.........

Oh and my trusty SD37P2 has now got a PCI-E bus speed setting in the bios too. That wasn't there before.
