I recently installed some memory into my rig however ever since i did the computer crashes quite often. (Crucial Ballstix,2x512mb, ddr2 667)
it gives the stop code "0x0000008E.............win32k.sys..." i have found out this could be a memory related problem however no errors are found when i run memtest.
I have noticed that the memory requires a DDR2 voltage of 2.2v but the sd37p2 only goes upto 2.1v....could this be the problem thats causing the system to crash? So could it be a case of buying memory within the voltage range of the system?
If so, could anyone recommend memory? I use the computer mainly for 3d modelling and graphics editing.
