SDS Drill adapter?

Hi all,

I have a Bosch hammer drill and was wondering, I have loads of standard drill bits from an old non-hammer drill, is there any way these can be used in my drill?

I assume something like this would work?

And if so, will I be able to use the drill on hammer mode with the adapter or not?

I have a feeling I looked into this before and it depended on the adapter, usually it could only be used in standard drill mode?

Can anyone confirm please?

EDIT: Because something like this is quite cheap, but doesn't say if it can be used on hammer action or not.

Yeah it has an option to turn hammer off so I think I'll get a cheap-ish adapter, at least it allows me to make use of all the various bits I have from the old drill
