Sea combat pirate game

I'm talking like the style in Assassins creed 3.

I think there is a mount and blade game or mod for it that's like it, just doesn't have the same gfx as AC3 (if that matters) someone might know it?

This game was pretty amazing, at least the sea combat. You may struggle to find a copy now a days though.

There's a community overhaul for it aswell

There was a game I played a long long long time ago which I think may fit your criteria.

I didn't get far enough into the game to know whether or not there was sea combat but I know that you could own your own ship.
