Is 5900rpm enough for running movies directly off it ? Im down to 4gb of free space, and i could do with phasing my last IDE drive out of my system totally and replacing it with a SATA, i just dont want a laggy hdd. So would be used for storage only.

you'd have no problems there, i've got them 5400rpm WD Green drives with all my movies and tv on them, no problems here, and these disks are all almost full (red bars in 'computer' in windows 7).

I just checked and ive got 50gb free but still need to sort it all out.

Is it possible to clone hard drives, so i could put my win7 installation and everything onto the new hdd without having to reinstall it ?
