Seagate 7200.10 320GB - jumper setting

Just got my Seagate 7200.10 320GB and jumper is set to the 'limit to 1.5GB/s operation' setting. Is that how it should be, or should I remove it? I assume it should be removed as why would I want it limited?

If your motherboard supports SATA II i.e. 3GB/s, remove the jumper completely.

Used a stanley knife on mine and flicked it out

Legend:

All you need to do is take the jumper off one of the pins and leave it on the other one, ie., on the actual HDD so you don't loose the jumper (that is if your motherboard supports SATA II).
