Hi,

So there is a little event called Black Friday coming up and Seagate have decided to offer you guys out a free £10 Steam voucher with every Seagate 2TB Barracuda Hard Drive as linked here. This is not just a random voucher this is in conjunction with the Steam Black Friday Sale that is happening on the 23rd. So what better way than buy a bigger hard drive or a backup hard drive ready for all the games you are going to buy with an added bonus of £10 off. This offer is available until the 28th October.

The voucher is very simple to redeem as you just enter the code into your steam account application. If you do not have a steam account you download it here.

The voucher is emailed to you once your hard drive has shipped out.

We have approximately 50 codes to give away so it is first come first serve. Pre-orders will count as stock will be landing tomorrow and will ship out tomorrow.

Damn, if you told me 6 years ago I would be paying more for a 2TB hard drive than I was back then I wouldn't of believed you.

Mind you that is an entry level "enterprise" drive and probably performs a fair bit better than a 2TB 7200rpm drive from 6 years ago.

In the world of fast moving technology it's unbelievable that the hard drive market has been stagnated for half a decade.

That cpu market has been progressing ever so much hasn't it.

So has memory. Revolutionising how to get money out of people by changing to DDR4.

Mechanical keyboards, LED bling, gaming chairs and SSDs have had an interesting time, can't say the same for much else.
