I would avoid this product. Wrought with unreliability. My other half bought two and both were plagued by clicking within a few hours of use before failing within a week.

A quick search on Google brings up many of the same stories. Maybe you guys at OCUK should bring it up with Seagate

Thats a little unfair. I have a Seagate External 320gb that also suffers from the same clicking noise. The issue stems from one or two things. Insufficient power (make sure you use both cables) or corrupt drive. The former is easily sorted and the latter is no issue if it's in warranty
