Sealing a PC case?

As mentioned you definitely shouldn't seal up a case!

Just ensure that you have more air going into the case with intake fans and less air being exhausted from the case.

This will ensure that all of the air is forced out of the case due to the high pressure.
 
Completely agree with demon and Apem.

Air intakes > Exhaust fans = Less dust inside the case.

If you are that worried pick up a set of DemciFlex filters for the case.
 
I seal all the unwanted gaps in my cases to stop sound escaping.
Or make baffels to create indirect sound paths.
You do need to really think about air paths / thermal control - it usually works better in smaller or tall thin cases.
In the semi passive water cool loops I build it's it's really important that the air from the single intake fan only escapes via the rad. There can be no air short circuits.
