Search Function - Website

Can someone recommend me a search engine to put on my site?
It must be free and no ads.

I've tried 'sphider' but it doesn't support images or unicode.

What are you searching? Is the content static or dynamic? If it's dynamic wouldn't you be better rolling your own search queries and using them directly on the database?

This is the kind of search i would like, except, I want it to support unicode searches. (it indexes my whole site daily so I don't need to do anything when I make changes...)

Google

If you browse through Google a bit they give code somewhere to allow you to add a search box that searches just your website.

No, not on the custom search pages last time I checked but there'll links to Google I think.

And you can ad your own ads If you want. (adsense)
