Search not working correctly?

Just curious if this problem only affects me:

When searching the forums for all posts by a user, the search function is only pulling up all the threads started by the user, not all the posts by the user.

Is this happening to anyone else?

You've probably selected 'show threads by user', instead of 'posts by user'.

go advanced theres an option in the top right to search by user

Thats what I was doing.

Hmm....works fine when I click their name though. Odd.

Oh well. Found what I wanted now.

What really irks me is that you can't use words of two letters in your search string.

Yes I find that really annoying too, always having to redo my search terms etc.
