I love my shuttle, to absolute bits, BUT I miss that one missing PCI slot (double width GFX card n all)
I specced myself recently a full tower again, but could get myself to buy it :(

So, can you reccomend me a sexy case (that rivals SD37P2 in looks), that I can have my extra PCI slot, AND AND would be able to fit a 8800GTX.

So far I was looking at the v300 but I have been told the GTX wont fit :(

Any suggestions?

Silverstone products

sugo sgo1e/sg02, same but uses different fronts and colours, takes gts without issue, gtx can fit if you put the hd into the 5.25" bay(s).
sugo sg 03 - not sure what this fits its new but the design is different

temjin tj08 - pretty certain this could take a gtx but dont hold me to it

Now alternatively may be worth looking into the lian li a05, g50 and v600. They're reduced height atx cases, work really well (g50 with x2 4200) in my case :)

if you want to find a decent cpu cooler for the v600, you may want to consider the silverstone nt06, according to the checks I have done on mine I can fit one in in the same way as you would on a sugo, worst case scenario is a few mm adjustment which is pretty easy, the nt06 is fairly soft to bend :)

I've just bought an n606 for my sugo and will be buying another for my lian li g50 (same psu/mb layout as v600) shortly

um if thats a freezer pro 7 that isnt going to fit unless you move the psu (which sits above the cpu socket), you have a space of about 80mm (based on my AMD x2 rig) between the bottom of the psu and the cpu.

HOLY Shlemola!!
The V600 is soooo sexy!

I was heartbroken to let my Shuttle go, but seeing that case in person has put a massive smile on my face!

Thanks lsg1r for your advice the other night on MSN, just still a tad worried the Fanless NT06 will do the job fine in cooling, but I'll post some pics and findings this weekend hopefully. Reason why I'm worried, is because the PSU fan doesnt quite sit right in top of it like in the Sugo's

Btw: if I do need to get a fan for itwhich one would I be able to mount in it?

what cpu have you got sup3r?

i ask as i'm planning on running my HTPC fanless with the thermalright SI-128 which is very similar to the NT06 so would be very interested in your results

As for airflow. the psu fan doesnt need to be right next to the NT06, as long as its providing some airflow for the case it should be ok :)

I wouldn't mind a SFF case that I could fit my watercooling into and hide it.

Look forward to your piccies.:)

Cokecan : I have a C2D 6300, and I'll let ya know what the temps are like (can prolly just use the gigabyte DS3's proggies to get all that info)

WoZZer: Yes, stop drilling holes in your shuttle!! :)
I can't say this is a SFF, since it takes full ATM mobo, but damn it's well laid out and much smaller than my previous Antec Lanboy i had
