Searching for files between a specific date

I've just come back from 10months of travelling and as you can imagine I have a load of photos, instead of going through them manually and putting them into country folders is there a way I can search for files created between a specific date (i.e. for India it would be files created between 01/12/06 - 27/12/06)?

Start ---> Search ---> For Files or Folders ---> Search Options ( Date )
