searching in safari like 'g ocuk'?

I use opera on my windows machines but like to use safari on my mac. However, on opera i search using the address bar like follows...

typing 'g ocuk' in the address bar would search for 'ocuk' in google.co.uk

.. is there a way to do this in safari as i cant get out of the habit of just typing these shortcuts i use in opera.

I have like half a dozen set up for w= wikipedia, g= google, o = ocuk etc

I don't know of anything that uses the address bar like that in safari, but inquisitor is a great search plugin, and allows you to set multiple search engines and assign keyboard shortcuts to them.

You cannot do it by default in Safari you need a third party app to add that functionality, I think Saft can do it but it is not free. HTH.
