Searching the Net in XP.

It just dosnt want to work, i dont even understand why, its not a problem that ive ever encountered.

I type either in the search box in IE and Opera or at google.co.uk etc but the computer just dosnt respond, i press enter and nothing happens.

The browser acts as if its processing the command but just dosnt..

Has anyone ever had this issue or know how to fix it?

Google dosnt, is anyone else having issues with Google?

That IP address dosnt load the page but typing in the URL does, but its when i actually press enter once inputting what i want to search is when the issue arises.

Does anyone know any software that i can use to monitor the Incoming and outgoing packets.

Also, is there any software knocking around that lets me monitor and manage the bandwidth between mine and my sisters laptops? I think she may be downloading which is highly annoying.

Have you tried deleting your temp internet files/cookies?

ipconfig /flushdns?

Done..

Seems to be working a lil better now, but it could possibly start later so ill keep you posted.

Nah id like to think im too smart for them if one pops up which im unsure of i ask people what it is, then i get the answer needed..

I dont have a virus, i bloody hope not, only formatted 2 days ago!
