Season Tickets 2012

EDIT: And only £15 to go see Wigan :D

Cheaper than Skys Sports, what is it now £40 a month for Sky Sports one and two, throw in MUTV or CFC TV and its not cheap.

No wonder so much money is in TV Rights

EDIT: I always get seats in the west stand (dunno why) but in my experience the higher up you are the better the atmosphere

I was in the South when I went in November, great seats but no atmosphere where I was sat.

Tottenhams most expensive seats are a ridiculous price, they may have the best view but it is a rubbish atmosphere there. It's the west stand where the well to do all sit and talk about their golfing trips to St Andrews. A great goal will be scored and all there will be is a nod of approval, wouldn't sit there out of choice, I guess it's the same with most stadiums, the higher the price the worse the atmosphere. East stand has restricted view but can have a great atmosphere. To be honest with ticket prices so high in general, good atmosphere's have disappeared from most stadiums. Its no coincidence that the teams with the lowest ticket prices like Stoke have a quality atmosphere, and places like Arsenal where the prices are the highest you can here a pin drop in a 60k stadium.

Same at Wigan in the West Stand they hardly sing or chant, East is where all "real" fans go, North is away and South is mainly family stand.

Just renewed my Arsenal Season ticket.

£1075 for the 26 games (19 league + 7 Cup) works out at £41 a game for me.

Was more expensive when i was a normal member paying £75 a ticket for A graded games Vs top 4 clubs.

Arsenal have the same as above. Some even sing songs about having a season ticket to the non season ticket fans.

Just spoke to my boss about this who has a Row AA seat next to the pitch on the half way line at old trafford. He pays £900 for his season ticket.

However Man Utd he tells me insist on you buying all cup matches and charge you accordingly. Were as my season ticket includes the first 7 cup matches.

he has worked it out that it costs him around £43 a match vs my £41.

I'm not denying Arsenal is expensive but it is not as bad as the above image makes it out to be. I wouldn't pay £725 to watch Spurs play 19 times a season thats for sure :P

Just renewed for the Champions of the league. £425 I really can't complain about that.

They were going on yesterday on talksport how City have put prices up. What they failed to mention was that they haven't increased for two years.

They do have an "interesting" pricing model though, whereby you can pay extra to get more points. These points are used to establish at what time you can apply for cup games etc. There are other extras you can bolt on too which gain additional points, like various cup programs and magazine subsriptions, so the price can increase quite dramatically. For me I just kept it plain and simple, got a wedding to save for.

Already looking forward to the new season.

I can't believe my season ticket to watch Leagone One dross is the same or more expensive than (the cheapest) season tickets at Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom and Wigan

But League one is so much fun! And you get an extra 4 games!!! (I miss it some times)

Admittedly I'm a bit frustrated our season ticket prices have jumped quite a bit in the last 3 years so now we are about 9th in the prices league table :( (plus there's less difference between renewal and new prices) but I guess it's partly relative to what the club can get away with and what sort of ambition the club has.
