Seasonic 12vhpwr cables available to buy?

Hi there.. I do not have a Seasonic power supply.. I just decided to Google it for you and came across a website where people didn't want to pay the extra money for Cablemod (they're damn expensive) and emailed Seasonic.. this is where Seasonic directed them to purchase cables:

Company is in California, I've never ordered from them, do your own research.. here's the post I had found about people being directed there to buy cables:

Thanks, I’ll have a look

Also, see this as a possible precaution with 12VHPWR cables:

This only seems to be a problem with people using the adapter cable on the older PSU's. There is no evidence so far, this will happen with new 3.0 PSU'S with a single 600W cable.
jay said he will test them when he gets them.

they don't though, it's all fear mongering nonsense.

Yep... All of these 4090 owners with burnt out GPUs and connectors are totally all lying...

All the hundreds of humans posting on Reddit, here, other forums and media that have posted evidence since launch. Total fear-mongering nonsense! :D

hundreds? its like 15 people and non new in days... no one able to recreate it.... I wonder why

or do you mean the hundreds of gullible tiktok bred fools who will believe any attention seeking person on the internet? no one even got the cable to go above 67c in conditions the end user would never have by accident...... bending the cable proved to do nothing, splitting the cable physically or snapped the solder did almost nothing.... but ofcourse they are reaching 105c and melting plastic... just no one can explain it so must be aliens

Lets not forget they melt from the outside in..... where no heatsource even would be and 12v at like 9 amps doesn't arc more than a mm or two...

Jonnyguru the PSU expert from corsair must be an idiot to not be able to get a melt right? what an absolute moron how does he even have a job? hundreds of people who don't exist outside of your imagination CANT BE WRONG!!!!

yea they are melting but only about 14 of them and no experts can explain why a few wires can melt like that? ... makes perfect sense.

If even more than one EK PWM fan splitter I managed to get damaged bending it often/too sharp, 4 thicker cable bundles joining a small plug is recipe for disaster, at least for me.
Personally I would look for a cable from the PSU manufacturer to run from the PSU straight to the GPU without adapters. When I had the 3070 FE I searched for a Seasonic one, just because I wanted it to look clean.
But as I don't plan to upgrade my 3080 for a while, not something I should worry now.
Will be a while until (and a big IF) someone pinpoint the issue. Bad batch, shortcuts? Don't think is design because the failure rates are relatively small. But bundling too many cables may contribute to other issues, like someone damaging the connector on the GPU while trying to tame the thick cables in the desired position.
