Hi,

I have been using this PSU for about 2 1/2 years now with the original cables and all is well, However I since recently started to use Extension cables (18 AWG Apparently) and I am noticing the PCIE 8 Pin voltages dropping 1 more than the other as low as 11.6V which while is still in spec it's too close for my liking and so was curious to know if this PSU has voltage sensing? I am guessing not as the voltage is not compensating for the drop because of the extensions.

So I am about to purchase the Cablemod RT-SE Full direct replacements instead of extensions and would also like to know from anyone that has used Cablemod full direct replacements if they have have had any voltage drops with full length cables?

Thanks in advacne.

It's the first time I used them and to be fair they bare not a named brand well other than PC Power and Cooling got them from Amazon they're not even that long either but they're losing 0.6-.0.7v that's far too much, Put the original Seasonic ones back and back to 12.0V 9n both rails, The 12v ATX was 12V with the extension but that's only because it was over at 12.5 with stock Seasonic cables so there was a drop there also.

I didn't Have any problems so to speak but imo that's borderline on the edge.
