Surprised nobody has invented something like this before

Not sure if I like it or hate it, the RGB is only useful for a case with window panels on either side but the unit itself seems okay

its cool, but the more connectors you add to a cable the more noise is added to the power delivery - enough to warranty a difference here? No idea?

Sufficiently noise sensitive devices "should" have their own filtering/regulation closer to point of load but it might be enough to upset some devices where they've cheaped out on local power conditioning/management. Data might be another matter but so far SATA and PCI-e, etc. have proven to be fairly resilient to deterioration by extensions, etc.

I do wish case and PSU manufacturers would do more towards cable management and/or even eliminating the need for it via innovative approaches where possible, etc.

For interference it's extra length of wiring which adds to size of "antenna".
And for other things question is about resistance and extra wiring length adds also that.

Anyway compared to usual "direct cabling" price is likely "little bit salty".

Should it not make a difference ? I don't imagine there's any extra significant length over standard cabling, if anything there might be less overall cable used in terms of total length

Is it any different to people buying cable extensions as opposed to full custom ?
